Bio-based Masterbatches

Bio-based Sicolen® ECO and Sicoversal® ECO masterbatches are derived from renewable resources, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and mitigating carbon emissions. They promote a circular economy by using agricultural and natural waste as feedstock.

• Masterbatch for the coloration and additivation of bio-based and fossil-derived polyolefins
• Renewable, plant-based polyethylene/ polypropylene carrier
• Recyclable
• Suitable for food contact

Masterbatch with Recycled Carrier

Sicolen® R uses a recycled carrier to maximize the recycled content of the end product. Our Sicolen® R masterbatches minimize the environmental impact and conserve valuable resources. These materials encourage responsible consumption and production.

• Enables 100% recycled plastics content, making it easier to comply with legislation and certification requirements
• Choose from our existing portfolio, or have a new product developed which is tailored to your specific requirements

Biodegradable Masterbatch

Biodegradable polymers break down naturally, reducing plastic pollution and harm to ecosystems. They’re crucial for single-use items like packaging and reducing landfill waste. Sicoversal® B moves towards more eco-friendly future, preserving resources and protecting our planet for generations to come.

• Ideal for coloring PLA/PBAT copolymer blends
• Imparts bright, homogeneous colors
• Meets European compost standards
• Existing portfolio of 11 certified colors and one biodegradable additive
• Customized colors can be developed on request

Our Certificates for Biodegradable Masterbatches

The 11 biodegradable masterbatch colors are Din Certco-certified.

All biodegradable masterbatches are TÜV OK compost certified, except Sicoversal B Yellow 13-281275 and Sicoversal B Blue 68-272905.
