COMPAL WS are highly concentrated, VOC-free aluminum preparations. Designed for long term gassing stability in aqueous environments, they can be used in both water or solvent based systems providing maximum formulation flexibility.
As non-dusting preparations which are based on leafing aluminum powder DEPUVAL is safer to incorporate compared to conventional powders. The solvent-free preparations come with universal compatibility.
Leafing pigments form a strongly reflective metal layer at the paint surface giving high metallic brilliance and gloss. Due to the surface chemistry, leafing aluminum pigments migrate toward the surface of the paint film. This enrichment at the boundary protects the paint film from weathering, radiation and corrosion.
Non-leafing aluminum pigments distribute evenly throughout the paint film and thus reflect incident light at multiple locations. For this reason, these pigments are highly suitable for tinted paints such as colored metallic automotive paints or tinted hammer-effect enamels. Non-leafing pigments are also preferred for applications requiring excellent adhesion, such as primers.

Benda-Lutz® GOLDBRONZE are copper-zinc alloys ranging from yellowish metallic to reddish tones, like pale gold, rich pale gold, rich gold and copper.
