Developed against the background of tightening regulations and in line with the DIC Group’s aim of contributing to a more sustainable society, these innovative water-based resins offer significant environmental benefits:
- VOC Reduction: HYDRAN™ GP resins contain no amines, therefore reducing both unpleasant smells and VOCs during processing as well as in finished products.
- Lower greenhouse gas emissions: Higher resin concentration – of up to 50-60%, and reduced water content enable lower greenhouse gas emissions. From raw material procurement through to finished product, this can be as much as 60% less than traditional solvent-based equivalents.
